On 20–21 March 2025, Scientific Events successfully organised and coordinated an in-class training on Financial Administration & Auditing Preparation for EU-Funded Projects on behalf of the European Academy. The two-day course, held in Athens, brought together professionals actively managing European Commission-funded projects.
The programme offered a hands-on and interactive learning experience, with a strong emphasis on peer-to-peer exchanges, practical case discussions, and dynamic group learning. This approach ensured participants could directly connect course material with their day-to-day financial management responsibilities.
Participants explored key aspects of financial compliance and audit preparation, including contractual and financial obligations, documentation standards, distinctions between eligible and non-eligible costs, the management of direct and indirect costs, and strategies for preparing successfully for audits.
As organiser, Scientific Events managed the full coordination of the training overseeing logistics, venue arrangements, meals, menus, and coffee breaks, as well as on-site facilitation. By providing end-to-end event coordination, Scientific Events ensured the seamless delivery of European Academy’s expert content in a professional and productive environment.
